Rostyslav Lyubomyrovych Valikhnovsky (born February 24, 1973, Ivano-Frankivsk) is a Ukrainian plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine (PhD), Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (VAPREH).
Graduated from the Ternopil Medical Institute Faculty of Medicine with honors (1995); He completed an internship in general surgery at the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after O. O. Shalimova (1997–1998). In 2006, he defended his PhD thesis on surgical and microsurgical treatment of alopecia; has two patents for surgical treatment methods (2005). Interned in Canada (Ottawa Civic Hospital — intensive care; HFI Clinic Toronto — plastic and reconstructive surgery).
In 1998, he founded the Valikhnovski Surgery Institute in Kyiv — a private multidisciplinary surgical center; the modern premises opened in 2017 next to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after M. M. Amosova. In 2004, he joined the team of doctors who saved President Viktor Yushchenko after dioxin poisoning; in 2005–2010, he was the President's personal physician. In 2008–2010, he was the deputy head of the Presidential Security Service (Decree No. 11/2008); in 2010–2012, he was the head of the department of emergency medicine in the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the implementation of the "112" system. Co-author of the Lancet publication on the poisoning of Yushchenko (2009).
Since 2022, he has deployed Valikhnovski Academy / SurginomX — an educational platform for doctors (live surgery, ATLS, USMLE/PLAB, IPRAS, ~1000 participants, 40 countries). On November 18, 2025, he introduced a named scholarship at TNMU for the children of fallen defenders.
